Get slides and full session video from my ISTE sessions!
🤠 The ISTE Conference is in full swing
Greetings from San Antonio, Texas!
The ISTELive Conference is MASSIVE … and it’s one I look forward to every year.
Thousands and thousands of educators are here at the Henry B. González Convention Center to learn from each other — and learn about new edtech products and features.
This is the first year the conference is “co-located” with the ASCD Conference, one that I’ve admired for a long, long time for its focus on pedagogy and sound teaching. So it’ll be like two conferences in one!
I’m also pumped to be named a Featured Voice for this first-ever combined conference!

I’m a Featured Voice for the ISTE / ASCD Conference.
I have a TON of sessions I’m presenting this week. I’ll be recording session video, sharing my slides, and providing resources I collect at the conference.
Because, you know … you can’t always make it to a big conference … but if you have a generous friend who passes along the good stuff, it’s the next best thing!
(And yes, I’m your generous friend.) ☺️

💻 TECH TIP 💻
📦Google Applied Digital Skills has moved

Screenshot from The Google for Education Learning Center
Since 2017, Google’s Applied Digital Skills has helped educators and students build essential tech skills through free, hands-on lessons. Starting June 30, 2025, these lessons will move to a new home: the Google for Education Learning Center. While the lessons will remain free, the platform shift brings some changes.
Here’s what’s changing:
✅ Lessons are still free and available to all educators and students. ✅ You can now access them on the Google for Education Learning Center. See which lessons are being migrated here.
✅ You can still bookmark lessons, complete quizzes, and access lesson plans, rubrics and certificates.
✅ You’ll still be able to share lessons with students via Google Classroom or your preferred LMS.
❌ Class management features (like creating classes or tracking progress) are no longer available.
❌ Direct integration with Google Classroom or LMS rosters has been removed.
⚠️ All existing accounts and data will be deleted after June 30, 2025.
To get started, visit goo.gle/AppliedDigitalSkills, sign in with Google, and explore the newly organized lesson collections!
