Check out all of the summer opportunities ...
☀️ The light at the end of the tunnel
My kids are officially out of school.
We’re on one of those “done by Memorial Day” schedules … unless we’ve had tons of snowstorms and have to make up days.
(Of course, that also means we have to go back to school in early August.)
My wife has to go back tomorrow for her teacher day, but then, that’s it.
Today might be your first “I don’t have to set an alarm” weekday.
If so, congrats! I’m happy for you.
Today, you might be looking at your last stretch before summer is over.
If that’s you, I’m rooting for you — and still sharing things to help you here in the newsletter!
Or, you might live south of the equator and are in the thick of it.
If that’s you, we’re ALL rooting for you.
No matter where you are, we have tons of opportunities for you in the newsletter today … because it’s finally time to release our PD Summer Bingo board!
In today’s newsletter (below), I’ll share direct links to a handful of my favorite options from the bingo board — and you’ll be able to grab a customizable template of the bingo board to share with others!
NEWSLETTER NOTE — In June and July, we’ll publish just one newsletter per week. We’ll share them on Tuesdays. That’ll start next week. Enjoy your summer!

📚 Summer reading: AI for Educators
Is it finally time to wrap your brain around all of this AI stuff?
Get a grasp on how it can save you time — or how to navigate academic integrity?
My book, AI for Educators, is a quick page turner … a primer on AI for busy educators who just haven’t had time to explore and understand AI yet.
It dives into big issues, like …
What do I need to know about AI to really get it?
Can it be used to support teaching and learning? How?
What about cheating and academic integrity?
How do I prepare students for an AI-integrated future?
Plus, there’s a free companion website with even more resources, including links, templates, videos, and more.
