📱 Let’s hang out on TikTok

For a few months, TikTok was my jam. I was uploading teaching ideas, tech tips, new apps, and other videos pretty much every day.

It’s been a while since I recorded TikTok videos.

But a couple days ago, I recorded some new ones. I’m going to try to get going on TikTok again.

Want to join me there? (And check out my previous videos?)

🎯 Quick Teaching Strategy

TAG Feedback Template created by @soswelledu on Canva

🏷 Encourage peer feedback with the TAG method

When students give feedback to each other, they teach AND they learn.

Plus, they see the feedback process from a new perspective: the person leaving the feedback.

The TAG method can help ... and it's super quick and easy.

🤔 What is the TAG method?

In the TAG method, students will "Tell something good", "Ask a question" and then "Give a suggestion". It's similar to "two stars and a wish" but with the addition of asking a question. It is scaffolded enough to provide some guidelines but provides the student with ample opportunity to give constructive and personalized feedback.

👏🏼Why it works

TAG gives students a few simple prompts they can use any time they do peer feedback. It saves everyone time and helps students know what to do when giving feedback.

T: Tell something good

A: Ask a question

G: Give a suggestion
